Straight Cremation Funerals proprietor and funeral director Lloyd Smith understands that when a loved one has passed the last thing people want to worry about are the costs of funeral and cremation services.

Before going into business, our team were local residents and local funeral directors who saw the need for respectful, quality, funeral services at an affordable price. Our low prices are not affected by market conditions and, therefore, don't fluctuate. Our fees are the lowest sustainable rates we can provide, while delivering services of a quality we can be proud of. Because our prices are sustainable, we are confident to advertise our prices and we are the only funeral provider that does.

All our cremations are carried out at the local family-owned Cairns Crematorium. The crematorium and chapel are located in stunning tranquil settings overlooking tropical memorial gardens. The non-denominational chapel is air conditioned and can comfortably seat 150 - and has plenty of off-street parking. In order to provide affordable prices, we don't cater for viewings, vehicle processions or sending loved ones over large distances (repatriation).
